TPO membrane
TPO membrane is a thermoplastic polyolefin-based mixture that is resistant to atmospheric conditions, sunlight (UV), plant roots, and offers a long service life thanks to its high tear, puncture and wear resistance. It is a TPO Waterproofing Membrane with UV resistance, vapor permeable, equipped, can be combined with a hot air source, has plant root strength, EQUIPPED for roof waterproofing applications. TPO membranes are designed to provide waterproofing on all roofs exposed to harsh weather conditions and sunlight.
TPO Membrane Usage Areas
• On light metal roofs,
• Garden/parking/terrace roofs,
• On roofs with and without thermal insulation,
• On concrete or steel roofs with domes or different geometric shapes,
• It is used for waterproofing metal streams.
Advantages of TPO Membrane
• The biggest reason why TPO mebranes are preferred is that they have longer durability, it is known that they show resistance up to 20-30 years in aging tests.
• TPO membranes can be easily combined with a heat source when the right product is made.
Sundays SUNDAYSPO membranes have a significant share in the US market and are becoming more widespread in Europe and our country and are increasing their share in the market.
• TPO membranes laminated layer resistant to all kinds of atmospheric conditions, sunlight and plant roots,
• TPO membranes can be used for free laying on concrete and especially light metal roofs with mechanical fixation,
• TPO membranes can be produced in a wide range of roll sizes with fast and economical application, high dimensional stability and high tear resistance thanks to the reinforcement material,
• TPO membranes reduce the energy consumption of structures due to their high reflectivity,
• TPO membranes are environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled
Types of TPO Membranes (FPO)
- Standard Homogeneous TPO (FPO) Membrane
- TPO (FPO) Membrane with Polyester Reinforcement + UV
- UV TPO (FPO) Membrane with Fiberglass + Polyester Reinforcement
- TPO (FPO) Membrane with Extra Reflective Surface
- Felt Laminated TPO (FPO) Membrane
- Polypropylene Based TPO/FPO Membrane (Special production)
We are working with German origin TPO, American origin TPO and Italian origin TPO geomembranes in accordance with the project and technical specifications.
Methods of Application of TPO Membrane Synthetic Cover
* Mechanical Detection Method
* Free Laying (With Ballast on) Method
* Linear Bonding Method
When deciding which method how to use the slope of the roof, will be exposed to wind load, architectural design, Yesil application will be a flat roof, and whether such criteria as whether it is the renovation of old roofs are taken into consideration.
October of the above-mentioned application methods, additional and thousand places are always combined with the hot air supply method and sealed. The joining process with a hot air source provides both a precise seal and creates a continuous and homogeneous structure.
As a result of the joining process with a hot air source, it forms a more cardboard layer than a synthetic cover.
In traditional gluing or sl october methods, the joints are the weak points of the layer. October joints are strong points in the joining operations performed with high-tech hot air welding robots, and no separation, lifting or peeling occurs over time.
FPO Membrane
The word TPO comes from English and consists of the initials of the words “thermo plastic olefines”. The word FPO, on the other hand, has the same meaning and is of German origin and consists of the initials of the words “flexible polyolefine”. In short, TPO and FP DEC are the same products and there is no chemical or mechanical difference between them.
TPO/FPO The chemical composition of the product includes polyethylene, polypropylene and polyurethane substances.
Geomembrane synthetic covers made of TPO/FPO raw materials do not contain PVC and do not contain plasticizer additives. With this advantage, hardening and loosening do not occur over time, loss of elasticity or the formation of microcracks are not observed. Besides tue, no environmentally harmful chemicals are released into the environment. For these reasons, geomembrane synthetic covers manufactured from TPO/FPO raw materials can be easily recycled and are environmentally friendly in this way. TPO/FPO geomembrane synthetic cover, which is an ideal solution for roofs that are in constant contact with water, is trouble-free and has a long service life.
